Singer/songwriter Alex Smith has been making music for
several years. He began writing songs at the age of 13
with the acquisition of his first guitar. He is self taught
on the guitar, and also plays piano, drums, and the occasional
accordion. Through out High School and College, Alex honed
his vocal abilities, seeking classical training and performing
in several vocal ensembles and bands. In the summer of
2003 he recorded his second full-length album entitled
"Perspective" while working and writing in Chicago.
He is currently planning a move to the east coast with
his wife Emilie. There, Alex will continue to pursue
a career in the music industry owning and operating his
own productions company. He hopes to play in and
around the DC metro area, and to continue to grow as a
musician, songwriter, and producer. |
